Nabhan Akeel is the Managing Director of Kiddies & Toys International (Pvt) Ltd, and the Chairman / Managing Director of the holding company, LIMRA Holdings Ltd.
He is a visionary, self-made chief architect, and a highly motivated and resourceful senior level executive with a track record of consistently exceeding revenue, profit, and business growth goals, even in challenging, fast-paced environments.
He has extensive experience with highly engineered systems, which necessitates a comprehensive understanding of key business drivers in a variety of markets and industries. He excels at establishing relationships with senior-level decision-makers, seizing control of critical problem areas, and meeting customer obligations.
He has led and expanded four IT companies, as well as organizations in the Mother & Baby care, Toys, Retail, Power & Energy, and Ecommerce industries, and transformed them into dynamic and progressive organizations. Having graduated with a degree in engineering from Moratuwa University in Sri Lanka, he has also amassed extensive expertise in the areas of management, accounting, and logistics over the course of nearly 30 years of corporate experience, all the while forging fruitful connections with clients, partners, and stakeholders from around the globe.
A seasoned and successful corporate executive with exposure and experience gained in covering 13 Industries such as Information Technology, BPO, Shipping, Consumer Electronics, Domestic Appliances, Personal Care, Pharmaceuticals, Finance, Education, Mother & Baby care, Retail, Activated Carbon, Mobile and Apparel, today holds the roles of Non-Executive Independent Director in the largest Finance and Leasing company in Sri Lanka, and Director cum Chief Strategy Officer, in LIMRA Holdings Limited, with a track record of producing, presenting and managing the implementation of innovative business solutions.
He is highly motivated with a proven ability to develop people and commercialize all aspects of a business, with a wealth of exposure and experience in converting opportunity into success and of driving profit and growth. Well networked and highly successful in implementing business process improvements, defining company direction, achieving goals, change and optimizing business procedures. Much loved by his colleagues and superiors for his innate practicality when it comes to Strategic Management and Marketing, having spearheaded diverse portfolios and campaigns throughout his vast career; he is adored by his subordinates for his understanding, oversight and democratic leadership style, and is easily a mentor form any new entrants into the dynamic field of marketing.
Rizwan can be constantly seen taking initiative in driving any project to reach its completion, much ahead of the deadline. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), Business, Management, Marketing and Related Support Services from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wales, Cardiff. Rizwan is a Certified Member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Keerthi is an Attorney-at-Law, called to the Bar in 2004. He is currently working as the Head of Legal / Company Secretary (Assistant Vice President) at Nestle Lanka PLC since January 2016, prior to which he was the Head of Legal and Board Secretary at Laugfs Group of Companies. His expertise originates from demonstrated history of working in diversified industries.
Skilled in Litigation, Alternate Dispute Resolution, Advocacy through industry associations, Negotiations, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Corporate Governance, Corporate and Capital Market Laws, Food and Consumer Laws. Strong business development professional with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) focused in International Business Law of Cardiff Metropolitan University and holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of West London. As a Non-Executive Director to the Board of LIMRA Holdings Ltd, Mr. Keerthi would advise and direct the group all business aspects with a specialization on Legal, Corporate Governance, Compliance and many other areas with his expertise.
Niroshan Jayasuriya is a Finance Professional with over 16 years of cross-functional and international experience in over 15 countries. His experience spans the FMCG and apparel industries. He is currently the Executive Director of Finance and a member of the Board of Directors of Unilever Sri Lanka Ltd.
Niroshan graduated from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in Sri Lanka and has an Executive MBA from the University of West London. He is also a Chartered Global Management Accountant and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK). Niroshan volunteers as a mentor at several educational institutions outside of work.
Ajantha is the CEO of KTI. He has been with the company for over 12 years, of which he has spent a majority driving business strategies, formulating business plans, running business operations, and looking after business development and sales across the strategic business units of mother & baby care, toys, and stationary, bringing success in the local and international markets. He counts over 18 years of corporate experience in varied industries including Mother & Baby care, Toys, Software Development, and BFSI.
Being a visionary leader, Ajantha has shown immense skills in providing solutions to critical business issues, risk mitigation, innovation, conceptualization, strategic decision making, operations, and people management through honesty and integrity. He was the key strategist behind KTI’s growth and expansion plan, and was instrumental in making KTI the market leader it is today, in the category of branded mother & baby care accessories.
He drives KTI’s business vision on building and inculcating KTI’s values and culture focusing on making it a family bonded, emotionally attached company with all of its stakeholders. Some of his long-term objectives for the company are to be ranked within the top 100 companies in Sri Lanka, whilst contributing to the goal of pushing the holding company to be listed within the top 10 companies in Sri Lanka.
He also envisions KTI to be able to a pay six-months’ annual bonus to all its employees, whilst being a certified great place to work. His team considers Ajantha to be a lateral thinker, and a good listener who is very patient and compassionate when handling all stakeholders.
He is also known to make use of his wealth of Finance experience in helping with his marketing decision making. He holds an MBA and a BSc (Marketing Special) from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, is a certified Business Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, and is also a member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing.
Safraz has over 12 years of experience in Sales & Marketing in different industries including Pharmaceuticals, BPO and Event Management. Having been a loyal member of KTI, he has over 6 years of experience in handling the internationally famous branded products in Farlin, and has been an integral part of the brand’s growth strategies in Sri Lanka.
During his career at a leading pharmaceutical company, he had also bagged the “National Champion” and “Outstanding Team Member” awards. He is a member of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM – UK).
Ruwan Dissanayake holds the esteemed position of Field Sales Manager at KTI, where he demonstrates an unwavering commitment to delivering top-tier results. Renowned for his adeptness in multitasking, analyzing intricate scenarios, and crafting strategic decisions tailored to business imperatives, he boasts over 15 years of multifaceted experience across finance, accounting, sales, operations, business development, and supply chain management. Throughout his illustrious career, he has left an indelible mark on the FMCG sector in Sri Lanka, highly impacting the success trajectory of numerous esteemed organizations.
Currently entrusted with overseeing the national sales distribution operations across the southern and western regions of KTI, Mr. Dissanayake exhibits exceptional proficiency in distributor and team management. His astute leadership in these domains significantly bolsters the company’s performance and fuels its trajectory of growth.
Jehan is a self-motivated, results-driven Marketing professional with a record of success in transforming businesses. Jehan is a Certified Professional Marketer with over 15 years of experience in various sectors being an allrounder expanding his career in Branding, Marketing, Operations and Business Development; gained from world class multinational corporations and local blue-chip companies.
He holds the Certified Professional Marketer status conferred by the Asia Marketing Federation (AMF) which is an affluential body of the World Marketing Association (WMA), and the Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from The Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing. He is a member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM).
Currently, Kalhara holds the position overseeing online and retail operations at KTI, with a primary focus on crafting and implementing digital marketing strategies. With over 8 years of experience in digital marketing and operations management, Kalhara is a seasoned professional renowned for propelling business growth and orchestrating successful marketing campaigns. Proficient in content creation, social media marketing, email marketing, and performance analysis, Kalhara consistently ensures maximum ROI. His effective leadership, collaborative approach, and innovative mindset make them a valuable asset in dynamic environments.
Possessing a BTEC Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership, Kalhara has also completed specialized training in Inbound Sales, Social Media Marketing, and SEO through HubSpot.
Mahinda has over 19 years of Sales experience within the stationery, beverages, cosmetics and FMCG industries, and is currently overlooking the Business Development of the world-renowned stationery brand, Faber Castell, and our own stationery brand, LEED.
He holds a Diploma in Strategic Marketing Management from KDC academy of Management.
